The Glue’s decided, shortly after an intense season of live performances, to go on August 2019 on a isolated retreat for five days in Castellane (a commune in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in southeastern France) in order to find inspiration and write down new songs with the purpose to add to the four existing four, kept in the records for a long time from Andrea (lead singer).
In that contest they gave birth to two song of the album “Glues“:
The retreat in an isolated and unknown small village, has led the Trio to clear their mind and also to set the targets to reach, such as the creation of their first album with their songs. The next autumn the band started the studio session and began to work defining the drafts and modifying the tracks with the support of Ramon Rossi (Drums) and Riccardo Sasso (Keyboard). The 10th of December, they started the first recording session at Vince Gurnari’s “Crossvalley Studio” at Vallecrosia (IM). (Watch the video: Making of Glues).
The 10th of January, the album was finished and the mastering sent and print to Bologna. The 3rd of February, the Trio gave a press conference at Erio’s “Tempio della Canzone” in Vallecrosia (IM). Soon after the release of the album, The Glue’s Avenue started to play live performances in Sanremo (IM) especially during the “Festival della canzone italiana”, introducing to the audience three new songs of the album “Glues” at “Casa Sanremo”
The second album? Work in progress… Stay tuned!
